Support the work of the Bettina Heinen-Ayech Foundation

We welcome people, institutions and companies who help us to advance the work of the Bettina Heinen-Ayech Foundation with a supporting membership, donations or endowments. The "Bettina Heinen-Ayech Foundation - Foundation for Art, Culture and International Dialogue" is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the legacy of the protagonists Bettina Heinen-Ayech, Erwin Bowien, Hanns Heinen, Amud Uwe Millies and Erna Heinen-Steinhoff of the Black House Artists' Colony in Solingen. Please help us: So that we can preserve the artistic work of the protagonists of the Artists' Colony for future generations.

In addition to various objects of support for the preservation and scientific reappraisal of these art and cultural assets, there is the establishment of a museum in the historic properties at Neuenkamperstrasse 163 in Solingen. Known as the "Black and Red House", this is the site of the work of the Artists' Colony that Erwin Bowien (1899-1972) founded in 1945 after his return from exile in Holland. There is now a unique opportunity to turn this property into a museum and a walk-in place. For many years, citizens interested in art have wanted a museum that presents the history of this unique Artists' Colony - in a lively and participatory way. The museum should not only document the history of the internationally active artists. It should also honour the local history in its own exhibition and offer people interested in history an insight into the region's industrial past.

In addition to donations and endowments, the museum project can also benefit from commercial  public relations partnerships that successfully and sustainably document your commitment to promoting art and culture.
